What is Trojan Go VPN?

Trojan Go is a lightweight proxy protocol built in Go language, which is an upgrade from Trojan GFW. It has expanded features like WebSocket protocol and is compatible with the original Trojan GFW version. Trojan Go is similar to other protocols such as Shadowsocks and SOCKS5, but it is simpler and easier to set up because you only need a password to connect. The primary goal of Trojan-Go is to ensure transmission security and concealment. Under this premise, the transmission performance and ease of use should be improved as much as possible. Trojan-Go is a complete Trojan proxy implemented using Go and supports multiplexing to improve concurrency performance. It uses routing modules to achieve domestic and foreign traffic distribution and supports CDN traffic transfer (based on WebSocket over TLS). It also supports the use of AEAD for secondary encryption of Trojan traffic (based on Shadowsocks AEAD). Trojan-Go supports pluggable transport layer plugins, allowing to replace TLS and use other encrypted tunnels to transmit Trojan protocol traffic. The pre-compiled binary executable file can be downloaded on the Release page. It can be run directly after decompression, no other components depend on it.
